We’ll begin our journey at the San Diego airport and take a van across the border 90 minutes south into Valle de Guadalupe. In Mexico we will spend our time between the wine region that is Valle de Guadaliupe and the city of Ensenada on the Pacific coast. Our small group will visit 2 wineries each day for 4 days, learning the terroir, and winemaking styles of Mexico’s premier winemaking region.

- February 22nd After meeting at the San Diego airport our van will take us south into Mexico. We will have a group dinner that night
- February 23rd visits to Valle de Guadalupe wineries and lunch. Hotel in Valle
- February 24th visits to Valle de Guadalupe wineries and lunch. Hotel in Valle
- February 25th visits to Valle de Guadalupe wineries and lunch. Hotel in Valle
- February 26th visits to Valle de Guadalupe wineries and lunch. Hotel in Valle
- June 22nd Brunello producers in Montalcino and a winery lunch. Hotel in Montalcino
- June 23rd Another day of Brunellos and a countryside lunch. Hotel in Montalcino
- June 24th return to Florence. End of Trip
Cuisine
Each day will be punctuated by long countryside lunches, prepared with local specialties and paired perfectly with regional wines. Our proximity to the Pacific Ocean along with the access to some of Mexico’s best new restaurants will round out each day of exploration.

Our itinerary also brings us into the heart of Mexico’s premier vineyards. Evenings beyond Valle de Guadalupe and Ensenada are free for you to savor on your own. With transportation, hotels, winery visits, tastings, lunches, and the cooking class all arranged, your only task is to relax and enjoy Baja at its finest.

Valle de Guadalupe 2027 Double Occupancy cost is $4,200 per person
Valle de Guadalupe 2027 Single Occupancy cost is $5,200 per person
Payment of the $1,000 deposit will hold an individual spot until August 15, 2026 at which time the balance of payment is due in full.
A participant’s spot on this trip is complete when the balance payment has been completed and the Booking form Agreement is submitted to Inside Winemaking
